    Have a laugh with Tony

Besides being singled out as hermaphrodites, perverts, lazy, and hilarious in this blog; my possessing sensible political views; and my publishing photos of my laundry; nothing has rankled Wuxi Expats more than the recent absence of Wuxi Tony Updates on this site.  AKIC has corrected the problem.  Till the powers that be come to their senses and unblock Youtube, I will upload episodes of WTU, the greatest baby update of all of human history, to www.break.com.  I know I should have thought of it sooner.  And I apologize to those expats who had nothing else to do with their lives.

OMG! I haven't been here in a while.

Don't worry rare readers, I am still posting here but the Youtube blockage is sapping my blogging spirit.  This is the first place I let you know about my videos.  Well, there haven't been any lately.

Anyway, here is a photo I just took out of a bedroom window.  You can see a lot of plants and trees being off-loaded a flat bed truck.  They are being planted on the grounds of the third phase of construction of our apartment complex.

It is my day off so I take Tony for walkies.

I wasn't sure where I was going to take Tony for the walk I promised my wife I would take him on.  The area around the apartment seemed a boring prospect, seeing how I have worn a path from having walked it so much.  Tony, as well, is a heavy boy.  The heavier he has become; the weaker I have seemed to become.  But a parent really has to not be jaded.  That is, a parent has to rekindle the fascination of a child where everything is new.  He also has to be strong.

On our walk this afternoon, I found a Buddhist shrine which I had not been aware existed and which is close to the apartment.  It has rekindled an urge to explore the Yangqiao area.  The shrine, located on a hilltop, afforded me a view of the surrounding area including old bridges and canals that need to be seen.
